Saran has vast expertise in commercial laws, property laws, alternate dispute resolution, contractual fields as well as direct and indirect taxes, customs, RBI related matters and Insurance laws. He has represented various public and private sector bodies like FICCI, PHD Chambers of Commerce, etc.
He has successfully pleaded and argued matters before various Courts, Arbitral Tribunals and other Fora including National Company Law Tribunal(NCLT), National Company Law Tribunal, Consumer Fora to name a few representing various FIs, PSUs and Banks viz., Oriental Bank of Commerce, State Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, ITDC, STC, IOCL, BPCL, United India Insurance etc.
He has got vast experience in takeovers, amalgamations, mergers and acquisitions, having dealt with statutory mergers of Punjab Cooperative Bank, Bari Doab Bank, Global Trust Bank with Oriental Bank of Commerce as well as documentation with respect to merger of Writers group of companies.
