Competition Law – January 2021 – Indian
In this edition, we analyse the regulatory and policy measures proposed by various antitrust jurisdictions such as the United States, European Union, United Kingdom and of course India for the regulation of digital markets. We also discuss the Competition Commission of India’s decision to investigate Google for a third time along with recent decisions on bid-rigging cartels and unilateral conduct. Additionally, we look at CCI’s approval of Facebook’s investment in Reliance as well as combinations in various sectors, including online pharmacies, ports, chemicals and power.
